LOUIE AUGUSTUS PITTMAN, JR.

Louie Augustus Pittman, Jr., 67, died Thursday, June 7, 2012 at home after an illness. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, June 9, 2012 at Richardson Funeral Home, burial will follow at Palmetto Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Friday, June 8, from 6:00-8:00 pm at the funeral home.

Mr. Pittman was born in Onslow County, NC, a son of the late Louis A. Pittman, Sr. and Elizabeth Sandlin Pittman. He was a retired Registered Land Surveyor for over 40 years, graduate of both Marion High School and Richland TEC, and member of Zion Southern Methodist Church.

Surviving are his wife, Gloria Gibson Pittman, of the home; son, Bryan Pittman (Julia) of Lake View, SC; step-sons, Greg Lane of Nichols, SC and Kerry Lane of Florence, SC; sister, Libby Rush (Jim) of Spartanburg, SC; nephews, Steven Rush (Elena) and Benjamin Rush; and niece, Ann-Elizabeth Rush.
